Macromill allocates and multiplexes servers for the processing of research data, for realizing highly efficient data processing, and system credibility. Our system is monitored 24 hours a day for swift action in case of system failure.

In order to ensure the prevention of hacking from outside, we set up multiple layers in the firewall. External consulting has also been introduced to maintain a robust security environment. In addition, a biometric identification system has been introduced for internal operations to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of information from the inside.

To avoid unauthorized access to the survey form by a third person, personal verification is conducted by registered e-mail address and password. Security measures are implemented, e.g. to restrict the frequency of video displays of the survey form.

Macromill only allows authorized operators to access panel information and research data, including personal information, on the system.

Regarding the delivery of data by open research, including personal information, the following three measures have been introduced;

1. Online delivery using a one-time URL
2. Macromill's original online storage
3. Media delivery via CD-R or high security courier service (e.g. security delivery service).
